Our Story
What started as a passion for dogs — especially German Shepherds — grew into a mission to provide the kind of boarding facility we’d trust with our own dogs. Over 10 years later, Marsh Run Kennels sits on six securely fenced acres in Waynesboro, PA, just minutes from the Maryland border. In 2026, we opened our brand new state-of-the-art facility — a ground-up build designed specifically for the safety, comfort, and well-being of every dog in our care. All-weather indoor and outdoor kennels and runs. An in-house medical lab. An advanced AI security system. And 24/7 on-site staff who never leave the property. We specialize in dogs with anxiety — the ones who pace, the ones who panic, the ones who’ve had bad experiences at other facilities. We also welcome dogs that other kennels won’t accept, including aggressive dogs, those requiring medication, and quarantine cases. If your dog needs care, we’ll find a way to provide it.
