In Memoriam Forever in Our Hearts

At Marsh Run Kennels, every dog who comes through our gates becomes part of our family. This page is dedicated to
the ones who’ve crossed the rainbow bridge – the wagging tails, the soulful eyes, the goofy smiles that made our
days brighter. They may be gone, but they are never forgotten.

Honoring Their Memory

Over 10 years of caring for dogs means 10 years of love, laughter, and loss. We’ve held the paws of dogs in their
final days. We’ve cried with their owners. And we’ve been honored to know every single one of them.
This page is for them – and for you. If you’d like your dog remembered here, please contact us. We would be proud
to honor their memory.

Raven, a stunning AKC-registered Black Bear German Shepherd, was a beloved member of Marsh Run Kennels. Though she has now crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, she left behind cherished memories of her gentle and loyal spirit. Raven was Bart “The Dogman” Stevens’ number one girl, standing faithfully by his side through every trial, health challenge, and hardship, always offering comfort and companionship, even at his bedside.
She will be dearly missed.

MRK MARSH RUNS RUBY SUE

AKC -DN42473001

February 13, 2015 – August 6, 2025

Ruby Sue was one of the founding hearts of Marsh Run Kennels. Born on February 13, 2015, she was beautiful, intelligent, and steady, and she became the proud mother of MRK’s very first litter of puppies. Over time, she had two litters, passing on her strength, loyalty, and gentle nature to every pup she raised.
Ruby passed peacefully in her sleep on August 6, 2025, after a short illness, believed to be heart failure. Her final days were spent surrounded by love and familiarity—the same comfort she gave to everyone who knew her.
Ruby Sue will always be remembered for her warm eyes, her silly tongue-out expressions, and her calm presence in the kennel. Her legacy lives on in her puppies, in our Black Bear German Shepherd line, and in the hearts of everyone who loved her.
Forever loved. Forever remembered.
