MRK9 Inc., established in 2017, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to the protection, safety, and education of large-breed dogs, with a special focus on German Shepherds. Located in Waynesboro, MRK9 recently converted an on-site barn into a dedicated training center, providing a much-needed space for year-round, climate-controlled dog training.
This indoor facility allows MRK9 to continue its mission of helping owners train and care for their dogs, even during the harsh winter months when outdoor activities are limited. The center is also open to the public, offering a valuable resource for dog training and promoting the importance of keeping dogs and their owners together.
By converting the barn, MRK9 has significantly increased its capacity to assist the community, without the need for large-scale construction or additional fundraising.
