Raven, a stunning AKC-registered Black Bear German Shepherd, was a beloved member of Marsh Run Kennels. Though she has now crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, she left behind cherished memories of her gentle and loyal spirit. Raven was Bart “The Dogman” Stevens’ number one girl, standing faithfully by his side through every trial, health challenge, and hardship, always offering comfort and companionship, even at his bedside.
She will be dearly missed.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marsh Run’s Sasha Delite (AKC DN42473001), a beloved Black Bear German Shepherd® and cornerstone of Marsh Run Kennels Inc. Born on April 4, 2015, Sasha embodied everything a shepherd should be. Steadfast, loyal, intelligent, and endlessly gentle.
Sasha wasn’t just a dog, she was family. With her calm presence, watchful eyes, and loving soul, she protected, nurtured, and loved with unwavering devotion. Her legacy lives on in the exceptional puppies she raised and the countless hearts she touched.
She leaves behind a lineage marked by loyalty, intelligence, and unmistakable Black Bear German Shepherd® temperament. Sasha will forever be remembered not only for her strength and beauty, but for her quiet, soulful companionship.
Run free, sweet Sasha. You will always be part of our pack.

At Marsh Run Kennels, our Doggy Hotel and Puppy Motel have welcomed countless furry friends into our hearts. Over the years, we’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, each bringing unique joy to our lives. Additionally, these companions have left paw prints on our hearts that we will cherish forever.

While the joy of their presence fills our days, we’ve also loved and lost special souls along the way. Moreover, these beloved companions were more than guests—they became family. Their wagging tails, playful antics, and joyful barks brought warmth and smiles to everyone they met.

For every dog that stayed with us, there were countless moments of laughter, love, and happiness. Some dogs were shy, seeking comfort in our care, while others filled the Puppy Motel with boundless energy. Similarly, they taught us lessons in loyalty, unconditional love, and living in the moment.

To honor their memory, we’ve created Marsh Run Kennels Memorial Page, a heartfelt tribute to the dogs we’ve lost. Furthermore, this page is a place to celebrate their lives and reflect on the joy they brought to us. It allows us to share their stories and preserve the happiness they brought to their families.

Although their physical presence is missed, their spirits remain a part of Marsh Run Kennels. Because of their impact, we’re reminded why we provide love and care to every dog that comes through our doors. Moreover, their legacy inspires us to continue building bonds with the incredible animals in our care.

The memories of these beloved companions will always light our path. Their presence makes our Doggy Hotel and Puppy Motel a true home away from home for every dog we welcome.
